Baggage Allowance
Carry-ons
First Class and Business Class passengers traveling aboard Lufthansa flights are allowed to take along two pieces of carry-on baggage. Premium Economy Class and Economy Class passengers are allowed to take along one piece of carry-on baggage. The weight of each piece of carry-on baggage must not exceed 18 lb. Its dimensions must not be more than 22 x 16 x 9 inches. In addition to this, passengers are also allowed to take along one personal item. The dimensions of the personal item should not exceed 16 x 12 x 4 inches.

Checked Baggage
For intercontinental flights- First Class passengers are allowed to take along three pieces of checked baggage. Business Class and Premium Economy Class passengers are allowed to take along two pieces of checked baggage. Economy Class passengers are allowed to take along one piece of checked baggage. For First Class and Business Class, the maximum weight limit is 70 lb. For Premium Economy Class and Economy Class, it is 51 lb. The linear dimension of each of the checked baggage cannot be more than 62 inches.
