About Norwegian Air (DY) Reservation

Norwegian Air, incepted in the year 1993, is the largest low-cost carrier of Norway and has its headquarters located at Diamanten in Fornebu of Norway. The airline covers as many as 500 routes to transport passengers to over 150 destinations across Europe, the Middle East, South America, Canada, North Africa, Asia and the US. The airline boasts a fuel-efficient and young fleet of 160 aircraft. Considering the several awards and accolades bagged by the air carrier, it comes as no surprise that passengers make their Norwegian Air bookings without any inhibitions.

The airline allows all its passengers to carry hand baggage with them in the cabin of the aircraft but their ticket type decides the number of carry-on bags allowed. LowFare passengers are permitted to bring only one under-seat bag weighing not more than 22 lbs whereas passengers with LowFare+ can carry an overhead cabin bag as well having the combined weight of maximum 22 lbs. Passengers flying in Flex, Premium, and Premium Flex can carry both the bags but their total weight must not exceed 33 lbs. The dimensions of under-seat bag and overhead cabin bag must not exceed 12 x 8 x 15 inches and 22 x 16 x 9 inches respectively.

Checked Baggage
Regarding the checked baggage, passengers with LowFare+ Norwegian Air tickets can bring one piece as free baggage allowance whilst Flex, Premium and Premium Flex travelers are permitted to send 2 pieces into the hold of the aircraft. Each piece of in-hold luggage must weigh less than 51 lbs and have dimensions at most 98 x 31 x 44 inches.
