Business Class passengers aboard South African Airways flights are permitted to take along two pieces of carry-on baggage. Economy Class passengers are permitted to take along only one piece of carry-on baggage. The weight of each of the carry-on should not exceed 18 lb. Its dimensions should not be more than 22 x 14 x 9 inches. In addition to this, all passengers are allowed to take along one personal item.

Checked Baggage
Business Class passengers are permitted to bring along two pieces of checked baggage; with each bag not weighing more than 70 lb. Economy Class passengers are permitted to bring along one piece of checked baggage, the weight of which does not exceed 51 lb. The linear dimension of each of the checked baggage cannot exceed 62 inches.
